AQR's Mental Toughness Questionnaire

The purpose of this workshop is for participants to gain a deeper understanding of their mental toughness and the affect this can have on performance, behaviour and wellbeing. Understanding how these factors impact on behaviours is important in improving individual performance, wellbeing, positive behaviour and aspirations.

How it works

Mental Toughness is a “personality trait which determines, in some part, how individuals respond when exposed to stressors, pressure and challenge… irrespective of the prevailing situation.” (Clough & Strycharczyk, 2011)

Mental Toughness assesses “how we think”. In other words, why we act and respond emotionally to events. It enables us to understand mindset in a very practical way.

Mental Toughness Questionnaires Development Workshops

We start by asking people to complete a Mental Toughness Questionnaire (MTQ) and this will generate an MT Development Report. We then run an introductory workshop to provide individuals with a deeper understanding of the mental toughness 4Cs model so that they can read and interpret their Development Report.

There are further options for 1-1 coaching and/or group development activities to help participants to develop their mental toughness.
